Advanced Rehabilitation for Limb Lengthening & Deformity Correction Preceptorship

Physical therapy is a critical component of limb lengthening and deformity correction treatment as these procedures create special demands and considerations for the patient’s rehabilitation. The goals of therapy are to maintain and increase range-of-motion of joints, promote muscle strengthening, help prevent contractures, and improve strength, mobility, and functional independence.

Participants will have the opportunity to observe live, in-person physical and occupational therapy sessions with the experienced Paley Rehabilitation therapists; attendees can select specific sessions that are applicable to their target patient population. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to participate in problem-solving sessions to discuss either observed cases or their own individual cases.

If you need to cancel your registration, please email Madeline Bacon directly. For written cancellations before July 15, 2026, we will refund all but a $50 administrative fee. If you cancel via email between July 15 & August 31, 2026, we will retain $250 of your payment. We are unable to refund any fees for no shows or written cancellations received on or after September 1, 2026.
